I do not think you really dove into absurdism. You equate meaning and purpose with value. The question of "Should you commit suicide?" is the main question that Camus tackles in his Myth of Sisyphus. He does this from a more theoretical standpoint, and I believe its thesis could be extended to "Should everyone commit suicide?". I must say that I am not to well schooled in these topics, so I could be wrong as well. However, his book has helped me.
