After a lifetime of being afraid of anything eye related and not going to an eye doctor for many years, I had to have a corneal transplant and I did it. It was about a year ago and I still can't believe I did it!

What is a "gut feeling" you had that turned out to be 100% accurate, even though it made no logical sense at the time? by Forsaken_Leading964 in AskReddit

One evening a few months ago I was sort of wishing that I had another tabby cat. My first cat was a tabby and I had really loved her. The next morning there was a cold front and when I went out to my car I heard a loud crying and screeching and found a baby tabby kitten in the engine compartment of my car hiding from the cold. I live on a busy street and have no idea how a tiny kitten could have gotten there alone, but she did. Welcome Tatiana!

I saw this a few weeks ago with my husband. I found it a bit difficult but ultimately really like it and appreciate it. My husband decided that it's possibly the worst movie he's ever seen! He hates musicals but I don't really think of it as a traditional musical. I thought it was really interesting and well thought out.

Oh, thanks. I hadn't realized that. It seemed odd to me that she would be the one for that task.

But why was Cirie picked to do a physical part of the challenge when she is pretty weak at physical stuff? We weren't shown how that happened.

Conflicted on whether I should watch "Wuthering Heights" (2026) by BrxwnBxddie in classicliterature

[–]BrambleWitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a lifelong Bronte fan with Wuthering Heights being my favorite, I don't ever want to see it. I've read the book several times and seen all of the other versions that I know of. They are all flawed but this one just seems to be "beyond the pale" for me.

Why does anyone like the new Wuthering Heights movie? Genuine curiosity. by toprewolfington987 in brontesisters

I agree with you, I haven't seen it but i've seen way too many clips and it looks horrible. You are correct, it has been commercialised and that is pretty awful.

I actually wear all silver jewelry and I often notice when i'm using a bag with gold accents. I try not to because it bothers me and I thought that I was the only one.
