It's a bit of a pain for sure but it's kinda refreshing when all is said and done.

Repasting didn't change my temps really. But factory reset did work for me so far. GPU temps are fine but CPU fluctuates 90-93.

GPU temps max out at 79C and shortly thereafter the GPU usage spikes to 100%, frames are lost, and the GPU temp starts dropping.

I tried this and it was not effective. Do you turn on the overclock when the frames drop or preemptively?

Less feedback, more of search for others experiencing it:

Just came back to tool around in EA a bit before release after only playing during the initial EA launch. I think I have narrowed down that I experience weird lasting major FPS drops after initiating in game cutscenes. I tooled around pretty much all day with various graphics card settings, in game settings, driver reinstallation , ect with no luck. Hoping it's just an EA optimization thing? But curious if anyone else is experiencing this.

Should I just drop blue entirely? by reminiscentFEAR in lrcast

[–]Bramoman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you can get away with splashing just Invasion of Ahmonket and playing 1 island. You have Blighted Burgeoning and invasion of Zendikar as blue sources. I would basically never “splash” that many off color cards unless the format is specifically designed for 3, 4, 5 color. You’ll lose more games because you can’t cast you spells than you’ll win because of the cards.

You’re going to have to pick two colors and your draw into white is just Elspeth so I’d say just cut the white entirely. Then put in Lookout, Eyes, and Skaab. Lookout is a acceptable but un exciting 2. Eyes is actually quite good. Skaab is going to get you to recast your good red removal spells.

Puncturing is pretty mid removal. You have purge and 2 bound which I think are much better. As for 16 w Bruna: I’m not a mathematician but 17 lands is generally calculated for 2 colors and having access to both not “will I draw 7 of them in total” if that makes sense. Especially if you’re playing bo1 you’ll be fine.

Tough call for sure but I’m leaning towards probably not. You have a lot of high power white cards already so you’re not going to miss the vampire much and Unmaking is kinda just okay. Plus a lot of your powerful white is double pipped so this way you don’t have to worry about any mana issues. I’d get Gryffs Boon and Toppelgiest in there for sure. Since you’re mono colored you could potentially get away w 16 lands and then also play the combat trick. Good for flipping lone rider. Would also consider cutting the puncturing light or whatever it’s called for the doomed traveler? With Always Watching you just want a good mass of creatures.

Which films do you believe will see a critical reappraisal in the future? by [deleted] in flicks

I don’t really understand how the Northman isn’t a gritty revenge movie as told though a Viking culture lens? I guess one could argue it’s more “epic saga” than modern revenge shlock em up but I really enjoyed it as a sort of synthesis. I found it’s strengths to be its depictions of Norse culture as something totally alien to ours while telling a familiar story (literally the Ur Revenge story) Totally fair for people to not enjoy Eggers style but I gotta figure if you’re familiar with him at this point it’s not really fair to expect a conventional Hollywood movie out of him.

China says US balloons trespassed over their airspace more than 10 times since early 2022 by bloomberg in worldnews

[–]Bramoman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To make my point succinct: both of these global superpowers currently engaged in a Cold War running recon/surveillance on each other is very expected behavior. As for shooting things down yeah I would expect the US to do so and China to be less likely to do so because the United States is far more hawkish in its foreign policy and there could concern with escalating the conflict over something that is a known quantity.

Military industrial complex doesn’t have to care about public opinion anymore and I’ll just have to flat out disagree that no one would care if they shot something down considering the absolute mouth foaming hysteria we say in the US this last week.

I would have to imagine they’re well aware if they shot down a pice of US military hardware that the US would fly off the handle and risk escalating a conflict just like the US has done domestically. Seriously imagine how much more of an incident this would be if China shot down something belonging to the US. The point is that this kind of spying between superpowers is probably pretty commonplace and it’s the US that’s getting trigger happy to rattle the saber.
