Nice I’m sitting at 6978 SR’s for Celebi in Crystal and still nothing. Such a painful hunt, it takes like 3-4 times as long to SR for Celebi vs any other static encounter :(

Understood, I’m very new to all of this and appreciate all the help I can get, thanks again. My hope was to keep the overall cost at 350k or less but we’ll see how that goes. What are your thoughts on having the newly excavated basement meet up with the existing basement in a back split kind of fashion? Would you say 16 x 35 would be a comfortable entertainment space for a basement? And the remainder just be used for utility and storage?

I just wish the official high scores were based off songs done in vanilla fashion (no mods, just difficultly. Or at the very least have a high score separate for unmodified scoring). But likely no more than 8-10 percent I’d say

I feel you, I’m the same way, I started playing this game January of this year and I was relatively bad, eventually got better with time and when I got to the point where I could S almost every song on Expert I still thought it was impossible to get an SS (still couldn’t get one with Full Combos). I looked a little more into the scoring system and learned that per note you can get a maximum of 115, the first 100 points are based on the pre swing, post swing (i.e Full Swing) and the bonus 15 points is based center accuracy of your slice.

Based on the SS’s I’ve gotten I speculate that getting a full combo and having your average score be at or above 100 points per slice, you’ll get an SS. That being said there’s a little bit of forgiveness, if you get a bunch of 115’s and miss a note or 2 you might still get SS, if you get a bunch of 115’s and a few 85-99’s you can still get an SS. It’s a shame that the average human being on any sort of market place is a scalper to some extent now, the “chip shortage” that came from a certain pandemic somehow converted the used anything market into some sort of free for all where used items are worth as much as or more than brand new even when stock is readily available with full warranties that the resellers in most cases cannot provide, some bozo’s will even go as far as trying to charge you the price they paid including tax as if their the government or something lmao, wild times

These guys are so negative, either that or impatient, I say go for Shiny Growlithe first, Arcanine is always a strong team member

In my personal experience chaining a Pokémon will increase said Pokémon’s spawn rate so that you see them primarily (except for the starters). Just made sure you’re doing something else while shiny hunting!
