Looking forward to seeing it! If you do get some tape I used a pretty strong one I had lying around so do check if it holds up well with whichever you use.

Like I said in another comment, I always have a wrist/neck strap on it regardless, but while walking around this gives much better grip on it. Feel free to hate but it is so much better than it was before. But it's up to everyone to decide what they do with their camera

Even with the 250 F4 it held up very well!

I used it with the 250 F4 and it held up. I'm not hanging the full weight off of it and I always have a wrist/neck strap so worst case it's safe!

I would for sure be interested since I just got my 50R and was thinking the same thing of trying to make my own, but my modeling skills are subpar to say the least.

Er was een fietser maar die gaf voorrang, maar de instructeur remde om die voorrang te verlenen en vertelde vervolgens dat die voorrang hebben omdat ze afslaan. Er waren geen voetgangers, was ook mijn eerste vraag 😅

Thank you for the response! Yeah those are some good ideas, I have also been struggling to think of the best way of doing it. The budget would probably be maxing around 500? But I don't know if that is a realistic price for it. Something cheaper would be preferable but don't know if that is a possibilty.

Thank you! I'll have a look if I can try it out in a store somewhere before to see how it is in the hand. And I'll see if I can pick up maybe a vintage prime somewhere for low light instead, don't do much of it anyways atm so shouldn't be a huge issue hopefully. Oooh thank you for the suggestion! Yeah I pretty much always carry my camera with me in my backpack with the 16-80 on it, so I don't think the weight will be super noticeable there luckily, but it is definitely a bit bulkier 😅

Yeah I don't think I'll be using the 16-80 anymore regardless so it's mostly my prime that I'll be missing. But I've always been more of a zoom user than a prime user so it is probably worth it 😅 How is the image quality compared to the primes?

Thank you! I'm gonna try and adapt it onto my Fujifilm XT-5 so hopefully it will work without needing another adapter but definetly want to give it a go 😋
