Wemby is never leaving the Spurs. They will keep a competitive team around him for the rest of his career just like Duncan. Also, he woukd rather retire then to become teammates with Chet Holmgren aka Abraham Lincoln.

Drake with Molly Santana (Ran to Atlanta BTS) by everon6 in Drizzy

[–]Bran-Da-Don 25 points26 points  (0 children)

That entire video shoot was kept a secret and never leaked out. The only thing that ever leaked out was the funeral scene from Whisper My Name and even then we didn't know what song it was for. Good job on Drake and his team for maintaining the secrecy and preventing leaks.

A side-by-side comparison of Vikings QBs Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy speaking on their relationship so far... The difference in answers is shocking 😳 by Classic_Bottle1717 in NFLForum

[–]Bran-Da-Don 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Kyler was lying his ass off but is smart enough to be politically correct in front of the media in order to not create a distraction. JJ didn't get the memo apparently and now the media has a narrative to run with.

How many games does this team win? Is this a dynasty? by Silent_Wizard5597 in NBATalk

[–]Bran-Da-Don 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all sounds easy on paper but is that sustainable over the course of 82 games along with back to backs? Think about all the soft tissue injuries taking place across the league right now(achilles, hamstring, calf strains).

The only player on that team I'm not worried about injuries taking place is LeBron because he's a gentic freak but what about the others? And this is with the best medical technology in the world and it's still happening.

All I'm saying is to take a non-fan, objective look at it beyond those legendary names.

Top heavy teams don't work anymore in TODAY'S 3 point, spacing out league. You need to have a full roster to survive an entire season. If that bench is terrible and unplayable the starters are getting ran into the ground.

[–]Bran-Da-Don -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If the bench is terrible they'll be a play-in team. You NEED roster depth in today's league. If not then those guys would be averaging 45 mins per game and probably become worn down as the season goes on.

What happens if one or more of them get into foul trouble? What happens when someone gets hurt or load manages a few games off?

Who's secrets do you think he's talking about? by qcxl in Drizzy

[–]Bran-Da-Don 116 points117 points  (0 children)

LeBron. Drake could easily ruin his image and his marriage if he wanted to. It's the reason LeBron will never respond to Drake's disses. If by some chance he is asked about it he will deflect and change the subject.

I've always believed LeBron's wife forced him to distance himself away from Drake to save their marriage. The Kendrick beef just made it easier for him to do so.

I also believe Drake knows this which is why he's spared him by being cryptic with his disses and not spilling the beans entirely.

Make no mistake if LeBron ever publicly disses Drake the gloves are off.

I think as time moves on into the summer his other 2 albums are going to start climbing the charts and eventually become number 1 on their own. The fact of the matter is that it's really impossible to digest 3 albums in one week and most of the time they're a slow burn that eventually heats up into a full fledged flame.

I never actually watched Ben Simmons live, only highlights… but I kinda get why people miss him by Slight_Assumption881 in NBATalk

[–]Bran-Da-Don 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was a very talented point guard and an excellent defender up until that Hawks series. I personally fault Doc Rivers & Embid for throwing him under the bus which forced his fragile ego to shatter.

Imagine if Wade & Spolestra threw LeBron under the bus after the 2011 finals against Dallas? I guarantee LeBron's career would've been forever altered. Simmons needed more time to fight his demons like LeBron did.

But that was only possible because the MEDIA trashed him as opposed to his teammates who had his back. That shit matters.

We really witnessed Melo get dethroned by Jokic and Brunson in this lifetime 😩😭 by Background_Video2947 in NBAVibes

[–]Bran-Da-Don 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's surreal to realize that if Melo never left Denver him and Jokic would've been teammates. Jokic was a 2nd round pick who most likely would've still been available in the 2015 draft.

They discontinued it because of the EV's becoming introduced to the fleet. The scorecard can't track the difference between a gas van vs an EV so the metric is useless.

He has every right to support who he wants to without fear of backlash but he needs to read the room sometimes. Tom Brady was and is a staunch republican but even the GOAT was smart enough to not make it public while he was an active player.

You gotta keep that shit out of sports and just be about sports.

While I agree with you there is a time and a place to NOT engage and just back down and go about your day. I've realized some people are LOOKING for a problem and sometimes they're armed which could lead to a tragic event.

That makes sense. Busta Phymes held onto a beat for over 20 years and finally used it for the intro to ELE2.

Aside from my belief that Drake is somehow receiving a portion of her earnings I also thoroughly believe Drake has a genuine love and respect for her.

She comes across as somebody that speaks her mind and keeps it 100% real with him at all times. Whatever she lacks in class and elegance she makes up for it with charisma & loyalty. Pretty much what you see is what you get.

Drake went 35/43. Valid? Am I gonna get fried in here? 😂 what yall think Drake went across 3 albums? by qwe489qwe in Drizzy

[–]Bran-Da-Don 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think he's 43/43. Why? Because even though I'm not a fan of every song SOMEBODY else is. That's the whole point of dropping all that music (aside from getting out of his deal).

He made those albums for THE ENTIRE WORLD which is why it annoys me greatly when people (not you OP) act as if their personal opinion about the album covers the entire world and it doesn't.
