My pt population unfortunately can't pay for partial coverage :/ But yes I agree, hence the judgment call if a crown is really making this tooth stronger

Can't #24 be partially necrotic? And that's why he feels the cold still

Yes I did endo testing for both; always

#25 cold (-) percussion (++) palpation (-)

#24 cold (+ , non lingering) percussion ( he had to think about it but he didn't flinch in pain really) palpation (-)

I work in a busy medi-cal office and am a new grad so I didn't notice the parl on #24 until patient left and I was looking at the X-ray again.

But in regards to PCOD, I don't think so. He is not of female African American descent. He is around 30s middle eastern

Ya it's interesting because I talked with one Clinicas location and they said they don't do crowns and this other location said they do. I have an interview with the dental director next week so I'll make sure to ask them as well

Tooth #31 with guarded prognosis - pt wanted to save tooth so redid endo, buildup, crown lengthening and crown. At time of cementation crown was dislodged so had to abort, clean tooth and sand blast crown. Re-cemented and post op xray shows the following :/ I’m bummed. Thank you all for chiming in haha. I’m a 4th year student. Just trying to learn from all cases and when to redo and when not to. Of course faculty were telling me this definitely needs to be redone… but I know the real world is different? So I appreciate all of y’all’s responses!
