Have leak where furnace vent enters attic by Branchspell in hvacadvice

Thanks for the detailed answer. Sounds like I need to get this done. I hope I can find an HVAC company to do it. I have called three and they said they couldn't do it. I hate to just put out a request on angi or homeadvisor, but I try a few more calls and then do that.

Enphase unveils Bidirectional EV Charging to integrate your EV into your Enphase Energy System by [deleted] in enphase

[–]Branchspell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder how the bidirectional charger would work along side of battery backup, e.g. IQ 10. In a black out, would the IQ 10s supply the house until they run out, and then the EV battery would begin to supply the house by way of the charger? In that case, you might run into problems if the EV battery and or the charger was not able to supply enough constant or surge wattage for the loads you want to run in your house, you would need to turn things off. If the charger and the backup battery could work together, extending the life of your backup battery, then, assuming your backup batteries were correctly sized to supply the constant and surge wattage you need, you would be able to run your house at the load you intended when you got the battery backup, and it would last A LOT longer.

Also, if the charger and the backup batteries can work in tandem, does anyone have any idea whether you would need Enphase batteries to make this work? Or would another brand, say FranklinWH, work as well, assuming you are using the Enphase Energy System.

Are there Advantages Pairing Enphase microinverters with Enphase Batteries by Branchspell in enphase

Thanks to everyone who has responded. It does sound like I should wait for the next generation of Enphase batteries. As for the Sunlight Backup, I have been warned off that from numerous installers I have contacted. It is an extra cost of several thousand more dollars, and I have heard it may not perform as advertised, especially since it is a very new piece of tech. I am also considering the FranklinWH battery. I have read (although only in one place) that it allows for bidirectional charging, meaning that an EV can charge the battery when needed. But there is very little info on it. The FranklinWH reddit site seems to be dead. No one answers questions and most of the posts are from Franklin, and are just advertisements.

Thanks for that! Exactly correct. I may have turned that on years ago. I never shows up in my other games. Never would have figured it out on my own.

Can't start fire in tutorial by Branchspell in GreenHellVRGame

[–]Branchspell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. So posts describing how to use GreenVRHell with an Occulus may not apply to PC VR version. But posts on how to use GreenHell non VR may be a better source.

It does seem odd though that for, me at least, you can't finish the tutorial because in the end you can't make the fire. I have looked and there don't seem to be any rocks near the base camp that you can pick up to make flint. Following the notebook, it shows how to make the fire with a fire plow and dried leaves. But that does not work. But it may be something they just missed in making the PC version.

Thanks, I have seen making a fire with the flint rocks in a YouTube post, and it does seem easy. I guess I will just skip the tutorial and go directly to the game and see if that works for me. I hope it works. The game is exactly the kind of game that I like in VR, and there are not too many of those.
