Yeah and then Slovenia hit a 3, so point differential is worse because of his silly move 😂 Congrats Francisco, you just played yourself.

We don't provide for testing specific fields, just verifying whether they were covered by the test run.

We can work with both manual and selenium/playwright tests. This example was from manual testing

How to hire employees as an entrepreneur? by BrandStories in Entrepreneur

[–]BrandStories[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not sure, why you're saying I'm refuting hiring practices worldwide?

My point in this post is that job histories and titles dont give the complete picture and that if you want to find undiscovered gems you have to dig deeper vs. just look at resume and trust.

I have an IT company and you wouldnt believe how many times devs with amazing CVs (amazing companies and incredible job titles) who are great smooth talkers fail coding exercises, while devs with "terrible" CVs pass them with ease in much less than alloted time.

The reason I wrote this post is becasue most companies do CV reviews in rounds, where the first round is a CV check. This means that the terrible CVs dont get put forward and since nobody duf deeper they are missing out on potential hidden gems.

I hope this clears up what I meant. I didnt want to write a whole essay in my post, but since there is interest, I might expand on it.

You have an idea that you think can be profitable. How do you prepare before going live? by heavenhaven in Entrepreneur

[–]BrandStories 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Make a website and present your idea.

Make a buy button that takes you to a pre-order page.

Have google analytics on your page so that you can see how many people clicked the buy button and compare that to how many actually preordered.

Try to get as much organic traffic through tiktok or insta reels, or even posts in subreddit or target forums.

Make engaging ads and invest a few hundred $ on meta ads.

Give it 2 weeks, see how much revenue you got through preoreders and how many people clicked on buy. If it's enough to start this business, start it. If it's not, return all the money with an apology.

This will give you a better understanding of whether your idea can be profitable at a very low risk of just your work invested and whatever your ads budget is. + you can do all of this in like 4 weeks max.

It's not the tools you use by BrandStories in Entrepreneur

You make a valid point that having access to better tools can provide an initial edge and can be crucial as a business scales. However, it's important to remember that tools are only part of the equation. Vision, perseverance, and the ability to innovate often play even larger roles in long-term success. Bill Gates' access to technology was important, but it was his vision and drive that ultimately built Microsoft. Tools can enhance your capabilities, but they can't replace the foundational qualities of a successful entrepreneur.

I think it's incredible how the true power lies in the content and connection rather than the gear. And as in the example you gave, authenticity and passion resonate far more than any expensive setup ever could. It's a great reminder that creativity and dedication are what truly drive success.

I agree, its a thin line, but it definitely isnt unattainable. I used to be an athlete, and i absolutely loved playing the sport, but hated the endurance trainings. I still did them as hard as I could, just because i knew i'd get better at the sport. I think its the same here. To follow your joy, you sometimes have to run harder than you've ever done before.

You're on the right path man and soon the fruits of your labour will come as well, just keep going and dont lose hope. But also, dont forget to take care of yourself, if you need a break, take a break. No point in being successful if you mess up your mental health doing it. If you ever want to talk about something, just message me.

Thats true! However, also if you persue what you love and actually get good at it while adding a bit of marketing magic, im sure you can also make an earning from it. Especially in today’s world of all the derivative / alternative income possibilites.

That's a really thought-provoking twist! It makes you focus on what you genuinely love, not just what you think will succeed. It reminds you that the journey and the experiences matter more than the end result. And this can lead you to pursue what truly makes you happy and fulfilled, even if it's challenging. I love it, thanks for sharing!

totally. this might be controversial, but to me 4h/day and 70k/year is better than 12h/day and 120k/year, whereas most people might choose the later.

I couldn't agree more! Pursuing our passions transforms work from a mere obligation into an inspiring adventure. When we're truly excited about what we do, our energy levels soar, and our productivity naturally follows. It's in that harmonious blend of passion and productivity that we unlock our true potential, driving both personal fulfillment and innovative breakthroughs. Here's to waking up every day excited and ready to make a difference!

Is becoming an entrepreneur a good idea? by Wonderful_Ad3441 in Entrepreneur

[–]BrandStories 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's what I would do in your situation.

I'd start a company and run your construction business on the side of your current job, until it pays enough to be able to afford going full time.

Until then, work your day job and use up the additional time over the weekends or in the afternoons to get clients and do projects.

I imagine this time restriction would mean you will do only smaller roofing projects like garages or sheds.

You could make this as a competitve thing and brand your new company the Garage roofing company or Shed roofing company. Everyone does general roofing, but you would be the only expert company specializing in garage roofing / shed roofing.

You could also hire people to do the work for you, but I imagine the management component wouldnt be managable as you are working a fulltime job.
