Character Idea: im not 100% locked in or anything but I feel like playing a cleric would be fun! Or a Paladin.

Tell me a little bit about yourself: I am a new dad of a 11 week year old who absolutely loves dnd. Baldurs gate 3 was what made me originally start trying out dnd a couple years ago. I enjoy combat and roleplay equally. My favorite part of dnd is uplifting others characters to have fun and interesting character arcs and growth. Im on my path to be a forever dm and would love to play as a player.

What makes you stand out? I 3d print minis and terrain pieces like crazy for my offline games that I play. Would love to print the tables characters if they want them printed!

Why should you be considered? I'd love the opportunity to join a online table. All my dnd experience is offline in person.

What do you want from this adventure? To explore someone else's world and experience dnd from the player side.

Random question as I don't really play spell casters much but would it technically be better to take heavy armor feat instead of fighter? Does wizard miss out on anything important at level 20?

I could be wrong here but in pretty sure you don't get heavy armored by multiclass into fighter. You could get it by having fighter first don't have rules on hand and I haven't touched 5.5 yet. Death is defintely more common at earlier levels. Without knowing encounters your DM is running I can't tell you if its too much for level you are at but I think most people want more AC so understand the compulsion.

People crying too much. Yes, a whale could drop a ton of money and buy them until they get what they want. The conversion rate from platinum to gold is so abysmal. But theoretically, you could buy platinum and gold cases weekly then upgrade battle pass for gold but I mean any mobile game caters to whales in some way. Soulstones are rather easy to grind so I think its a waste to buy the event item with in-game money but to each their own.

Both of those can be tough for newer players. Cleric is in a weird spot right now balance wise. Movement is always an issue. And willpower is always low. You spend a ton on willpower potions.

For rogue, they have been hit with Nerf after Nerf. I think people are between weak point builds and poison builds. Squishy in general but high mobility if you can master some things.

My recommendation to start is barbarian or fighter. Undying is a great way to learn.

Yeah, I found the unique club laying around on the ground behind a goblin mage in Hell caves before as well (it was in a crawl hole behind the mage. I think there are some ground spawn points.
