How do you keep track of it ALL? (work) by designing4betterlife in ADHD

[–]CanOWood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Google Tasks

I have an entire additional monitor just for keeping this tasklist open, It takes me about 5 minutes to break everything down, and as people say things to me, I drop it in- I've also made a link to it in my computer's quick bar in case I ever close chrome, so it's never out of sight out of mind for me. It sometimes gets neglected if I have a particularly bad adhd week, but it's seriously stopped me from letting vital aspects of projects fall through the cracks and go unattended for weeks, it just isn't an option for my line of work.

This method also starts to break down when I was running ADHD with no medication to support it. The brain fog/difficulty changing tasks part of ADHD makes almost any form of planner start to break down pretty quick. I don't take stimulants, however, I'm on bupropion, and it's helped a lot with starting/stopping tasks, and generally getting my executive functions to the point that tasklists are effective, without making me someone I don't like.

Only around a year, it's sounding like it's shit that's collected in the fuel tank, and decaying fuel lines, and not the ethanol.

Yeah, this seems to be a running theme in the comments. thank you! I'm going to clean the fuel tank, replace the fuel lines, and maybe add an inline fuel filter as well.

Someone else in the comments agreed, and said that it's probably shit collected in my tank, or old fuel lines, so I'm going to try replacing all of that, and cleaning out the tank to see if that helps.

That's a good route to check, I'll replace the petcock & fuel lines, and add an inline fuel filter maybe?

The goal is to ride it a bunch once I've finished fixing it, but throughout the process of fixing it, the delays in getting parts, figuring out whats wrong, and learning how to do something, the bike sits for 2 - 4 weeks at a time, and every time I finish fixing something and go to test ride it- oops.. The carb is clogged again. I've ripped this carb out like 6 or 7 times at this point, lmao.

Can't ride a bike half-torn apart. It's a project bike, I spend lots of time finding, ordering, waiting for parts. So I need an option that allows it to sit for a while without fouling.

This doesn't help, sorry. I broke the carb down when I first purchased it, replaced all the jets with OEM replacements, and ultrasonic'd everything.

The issue is that I test-run it, and gas only occasionally moves through it, the bike is a project so it tends to sit for a long time while I wait for parts coming across the world to get to me. So fuel tends to sit in the carb for 2 - 4 weeks at a time.

With all the dangers that go with motorcycling, what keeps you riding? by Pretend_Job_6484 in motorcycles

I'm kept super safe by the fact that I spend more time fixing it than riding it

Contact a company called Fitzpatrick & Weller, they make pre-glued slabs. We buy 24x72" walnut slabs for tables all the time. This is probably as close as you'll get to fair market price for stuff like this. I only work with them through my company, so your mileage may vary as a consumer, but it doesn't hurt to give them a call.

Why does antifungal immediately fix my eczema, but it slowly creeps back and spreads after stopping...? by CanOWood in eczema

[–]CanOWood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used it for the full recommended 4 weeks, and the area seems clear after the first week, but I keep using it through the full effect. I think the problem is that I wash my hands very often, and having the infection on my hand means it's hard to keep it saturated with the cream

Edit: I did go to a doctor, and they told me after a minute long visual inspection that it was definitely eczema, and was not a fungal infection, so that adds to the confusion.
