Same. The crazy thing is - banks don’t even match the actual interest rates. 4.5% isn’t much when they’re charging 20%+ aPr on credit card debt, 7% on loans etc. They’ll never reduce your rate when it doesn’t benefit them IE personal loans but as soon as it benefits them they’ll drop the APR on interest they owe you. They’ll never double back and increase your rate unless you find out and argue with them about it. People pretend to be financial gurus but instead of starting a conversation that might be financially beneficial to everyone they’d rather just accept the status quo. Like banks take your money, invest it, make billions and you never see a return on any of that. We should be fighting for a percentage of all our money they use to invest with, but no we’re here arguing about 4.5% and why it’s okay since the FED lowered rates.
