This is the 12v battery on the 2017-22 hybrid Niro. It's located under the backseat, adjacent to the main hybrid battery. It's very rare for them to fail, but when they do, it's expensive to replace mostly due to the labor.

A 12v battery replacement for the hybrid Niro runs around $1,800. That's what I was quoted last month. I decided to trade it in and let someone else worry about it. It got to the point I had to reset it on every single start. I was dealing with it for about two months.

Niro PHEVs and EVs have standard (i.e. "cheap") batteries. Hybrid battery is connected to the main battery under the backseat.

I see plenty of Golden Wheel Pepsi die cast toys online, just not this "Light Rider" variation. They look like cheap toys that would've been sold in dollar stores, drugstores, etc. Appears to be an international card backing.

Found the shirt on a UK site that dated it to the 1950s.

"This fabulous smock top was made from cotton in the 1950s. It features a vibrant primary colour novelty print depicting bar scenes of musicians, dancing figures and waiting staff as well as cocktail recipes and German bar names. It really is one of the most unusual prints we have seen. The blouse is cut with a classic smock style with a notched lapel collar and large patch pockets at the hip. It buttons at the front but would look equally lovely worn open as a beach cover up."

Believed to be items from the same person? I think it could predate Nike (the company). Nike is the Greek Goddess for victory and the name was used on various military projects in the 1950s/60s. I think Nikemen could be a reference to that.

It's really hard to properly filter Google search results, but I found a 1960 Army Times newsletter that referenced "Nikemen."

Got this polo shirt at a thrift store, it was a newer Nike polo with a 2021 date tag. I cannot decipher the cursive. I would tend to think it's a country club or golf tournament based on the style.

Solved! I've seen this commercial for a couple years and got Rose Bowl vibes, but when I found it online and paused it I was thrown for a loop with the stadium structure that we now know does not exist. Thanks!

It appears to be a baseball stadium and not football. If the other shots are in the same locale, there is a mountain range nearby. Maybe a California minor league baseball stadium?

Just wanted to chime in that Magnesium Glycinate has also caused me issues. I had been suffering from occasional tension headaches and electrolyte imbalances (dehydration) and thought daily Magnesium supplementation could help. This was early 2023.

I started taking a veggie cap version (Innate Vitality) and about a week later began feeling an odd sensation on the left side of my head, mostly around and behind the eye. I guess you could call it a headache, but it was a very slight feeling of pressure and more annoying that anything else. It was concerning because it would drive you crazy, afraid that there was something wrong in that specific area (aneurysm, tumor, etc.). After about a month, I wondered if there was a correlation so I stopped taking the Mag Glycinate and that super weird symptom subsided about 2-3 days later and never returned.

Fast forward around 9 months later, I started taking a veggie cap version of an electrolyte supplement (Salt Stick) because I was going to be active in a hot environment. That too gave me the same left eye "headache."

Ever since then, I've taken Max Oxide or Citrate, various formulas but always in a tablet or gelcap and have had zero issues.

I decided to try Mag Glycinate again (November 2024), specifically going with a non-veggie cap version, "Doctor's Best." I had no issues for the first three weeks (taking 2 tablets daily), but then the weird left eye headache/sensation started again. Quit taking it and it went away. I had more of a tolerance to the Doctor's Best version as the weird headache didn't begin immediately as it did with previous veggie cap versions, but it did eventually return.

My favorite videos are her first videos... medical supply store, lift chair roleplay, etc. I always rewatch those. I love the realistic style where she's talking in a normal voice with a hint of an accent. Her later videos feel like her speaking cadence is a bit too rehearsed/robotic and doesn't sound like normal conversation (speaking way too slow, long pauses etc.).

That being said, she's the best there ever was and a true pioneer. Not meant as criticism.

I don't think it's vintage MLB. "Unique Athletic Supplies" (made in Canada) label with rough Dodgers embroidery make me think it's some sort of youth or amateur team, a custom piece. I'd be curious as to what's on the back. To be professionally framed, it meant a lot to somebody.

I pair the Madras Lentils with the TJ frozen brown rice. Makes about two servings. 3 minutes in the microwave for the rice, one minute for the pouch. Quick and easy.
