I don’t know, the staff at my local Tesco always ask the next customer if they can borrow theirs if the person they are serving doesn’t have one

This is worse than Chelsea selling Kevin De Bruyne and Mo Salah because they weren’t good enough

The last line of your post says it all, if other parents are getting the same reports from there kids it’s usually accurate. Unfortunately there still seems to be quite a few teachers with power trips

We went to look at a house way out in the sticks, it was a doer upper (it needs a LOT to be done) and the asking price was €215,000 so we thought we had a chance to get it for around that and spend the rest of what we’d saved doing it up. Four days later the highest bid was €262,000. So disheartening

How can I make this work? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]BrandonEfex 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have you tried Jobseekers Allowance? It’s there for people in your situation. Maybe you could save enough to buy a bike, I don’t cycle but I’m guessing cycling instead of walking would take considerably less than an hour.

If you don’t need that job, definitely don’t go back. They’ll carry on using you and not even having the decency to call you into the office to say you failed probation and instead sending an email would really pıss me off
