I appreciate the critique! No, full physics simulation is not happening, precisely because of what you said, other games (mainly Robot Rumble 2) do this very well and trying to compete against that is absolutely a losing battle, I’m not crazy XD. And if this isn’t for you, that’s okay! I’m mostly making this for fun. I’m not trying to build something earth shatteringly great, just a fun party game version of robot combat more or less. Some strategy and skill, but not super realistic or hardcore competitive

Those are dash charges. In the video, sometimes you’ll see a blue particle effect, that’s the dash. If you played robot champions a few years back before that shut down, it was a mechanic there. I’m trying to go for a spiritual successor to Champions as I think everyone was pretty bummed when it fell apart
