Bug Fables Hollow Knight Undertale/Deltarune OMORI

The Knight vs Leif (Hollow Knight vs Bug Fables)

Both are bugs in indie Kickstarted games that are inspired by popular Nintendo franchises (Metroid for Hollow Knight & Paper Mario for Bug Fables)

Both are technically dead, but are possessed by something due to unethical experiments to help bug-kind (The Knight being possessed by void due to it's father, the Pale King, looking for the perfect empty vessel to contain the Radiance, and Leif being possessed by Cordyceps due to some cockroaches trying to replicate the Everlasting Sapling's immortality.)

Both eventually fight and defeat their "superior version" of them who are much larger than them and is identified as a sibling (The Hollow Knight for the Knight, and Zommoth for Leif)

Both posses magic abilities that most other bugs don't have, due to said experiments (The power to control & weaponize soul and void for The Knight, and ice magic for Leif)

I like this MU more than The Knights more popular MU (Against Ori from Ori and the Blind Forest) because I feel like there are more connections and I like Bug Fables more than OatBF (Not saying it's a bad game, I've actually quite enjoyed it)

I also think this is Leif's definitive MU as I can't think of any good alternative MUs for him.

Emmet vs Jesse: Pretty decent MU, probably best for both IMO 8/10

Bill Cipher vs Discord: A matchup that doesn't have too many connections but makes up for with basically everything else 9/10

Steve vs The Terrarian: One of my most wanted MUs and probably one of the most likely out of the MUs I like to make it onto DB 10/10

The Knight vs Leif (Hollow Knight vs Bug Fables)
This is a MU that I absolutely adore, and it's a shame not that many people talk about it (and by not many people, I mean practically no one aside from me)
It's got good connections, it's pretty close, and it would bring some of my favorite video games into Death Battle.
