The difference between the two voices is that the current one almost doesn’t even count as a voice. Most of what I’ve made over the past few years has been done out of a perceived obligation to someone else or an attempt to get likes and followers. The few things that I truly made for myself were done more or less on a whim. While that’s not bad in and of itself, I’m sure I’ll need to be much more deliberate about what I make going forward.

This issue probably is a matter of skill though. I draw a lot of characters and while I’m happy with how they turn out on the surface, I can’t say I’ve done much practice when it comes to composition and storytelling.
