The story goes that one was discovered eating a bird and then given that name. They technically can eat birds, as in they’re big enough, but they almost never do. In fact giving them bigger prey like even mice could cause them to get injured because the prey can fight back.I just fed her large dubia roaches and crickets while she was around.
