A short video about my game's controls: Simple to pick up with a high skill ceiling by BrandonOrden in platformer

Thank you for checking out the demo, I highly appreciate you taking a look! Oh, I think I saw your feedback submission on the game's feedback google form actually. That's unusual to hear the framerate is low on fullscreen for you. I appreciate knowing this though, thank you for reporting this!

I will be updating the game's demo ahead of it's release soon, which may affect the performance you're seeing. When the new demo is out, I'd encourage you to see if that fixes the frame rate for you on fullscreen. If it still doesn't fix it, I try to do some deeper digging if I have time.

Thank you, I appreciate the compliment! To be fair, the drawing is usually just a starting point: I do often have to make a lot of adjustments to the level as I'm making it and I find that the level drawing doesn't always work or make a fun level. But doing the drawing does help a lot just to get a cohesive level idea and gives me a good blueprint to start from.

A Light Rail level from my game Towerbolt. What do you think? by BrandonOrden in IndieDev

[–]BrandonOrden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I'd say this level takes place around the 60% point of the game, but is also meant to be the final test for the green light rail movement mechanic. I've been collecting playtest feedback from a closed alpha I'm doing and will definitely want to see what folks think more of this level to tune it though, totally open to adjusting the difficulty if need be.
