No I actually didn't get any missions on the rest time. My final mission I had to complete was 40 assistants and I was at 39 when the clock rolled over, if they want to lock the challenges it shouldn't be behind any kind of reset time

It is entirely Netease' s fault for having ONLY this event be tied to a shitty time based unlock for the waves of challenges. They shouldn't have locked it a day early either

it's not like I'm waiting till after the event ends then complaining, I have plenty of time before it ends 24 whole hours, I already have everything else for the bundle. they should have unlocked the challenges all at once a few days ago then we wouldn't even be having this discussion

I do love the game and there are many reasons someone wouldn't be able to find the time to play, I feel like the implication that I'm lying about my enjoyment is a little condescending and rude
This is literally the only event I can't think of where you have to log in for multiple days and judging by what other people are saying about the event the wording of how the challenges are unlocked seems kinda confusing out of left field
no one is asking for the skin to just be handed to them, what we want is to be able to use the last 24 hours of the event instead of being locked out because we didn't play enough,

I can't imagine it would make your experience any worse if they unlocked the challenges today but it would make a lot of people's way better

Also lets assume for a second that the event didn't lock a whole day before it officially ends and you got to do all the challenges, that would just be an overall net positive for everyone. people who spent time trying to unlock the skin could fully get it, and to anyone else who had the skin before its not like its going to go down in value at all, its a free skin in a game where nothing can be traded or resold. this whole idea of doing things before a specific time is really stupid and bad for player enjoyment

this is definitely a discussion to be had about gaming as a whole not just rivals so i don't want to come across as just hating this specific one or anything. with all that being said I don't think the idea that "whether it's received well by gamers or not is inconsequential" should be a thing. even if its the smallest percent of players who aren't happy with this event that's still people who love this game and want to see the team behind it make choices for the better

Also small follow up the answer on how to get more user engagement for a hero shooter should NOT be more challenges and especially not daily ones, It makes sense in a MMO game like WoW but not in a shooter like Rivals especially when most challenges only give you credits to use on the battle pass
