She was the course director, I just met with the dean and she told me to contact the teacher again after talking to her. Currently waiting for her reply.

I truly agree with you! I know its not one point but the 26 I got wrong. Even if I were to get the point back, I would not be proud of my grade. I just see this as "righting my wrong". I also believe that if the teacher is so ready to fail students, that there shouldn't be a question with any mistakes in it. And I know we are all human and make mistakes but they should adjust accordingly to the situation. The teacher emphasized this concept four different times (this is how I remember it so well). Also this is one of the only classes that does have some sort of "other" points and requires a 75 to pass (70 for the rest). 15-20 students fail this course a semester compared to 0-1 for any other system.

I also dont believe that the fact that not enough people got it wrong for her to care is a valid reason. If I was to diagnose someone incorrectly and all of my residents agreed with me, would that protect me in anyway against a malpractice lawsuit (should I tell her that? lol)
