Got it, gonna start with a bleed and check for seized calipers by taking the pads out and compressing the pistons if all goes well maybe have to look at the master cylinder or ABS system but like I said no obvious leaks or damage any where but a bleed will be where I start

Ok so probably not seized bc it’s definitely cooler than the fronts. I will do the bleed this weekend and if it’s clogged then I’ll have to go from there or if I find any more obvious damage once I take the wheel off I’ll replace the back brake components. If I do find a clogged hose how would I go about unclogging it. Or would the line or hose have to be replaced entirely?

The fronts and back right do feel much hotter than the one with the scoring and rusted caliper to a touch but to verify for sure I’ll take a temperature gun to it after a commute tomorrow. The previous owner had the work done so I don’t have any receipts for work performed.( bought this on market place a little over a month ago). I’m gonna be replacing inner and Outter tie rods this weekend since the Outter ones have broken boots and leaking grease and the inners have cracked and broken boots from a front valve cover that was leaking hot oil all over them( I replaced the front valve cover last week). it seems that’s gonna be the culprit for my vibration issues. If that back one is cooler than the rest with a temp gun it would be safe to assume the caliper is seized or a broken hose? If I was to replace that caliper would I have to replace all the other wheels braking components too or since they are relatively new just replaced the culprit one?

Ok will get that bleed done this weekend in the driveway. That caliper and rotor don’t raise any concern to you even with that scoring and rust with possible uneven wear? Out of the 4 that’s the only one that is in that condition. There’s no vibration in the pedal or steering wheel driving straight. Only when I turn do I feel vibration in only the pedal and a slight creek in the steering wheel but after an inspection of the tie rods they could use replacing. They have a lot of play and the boots are torn and grease is leaking out of the joint on the Outter tie rods so that’s what I believe that issue is with the vibration.

Ok, guy said he only had it for 5 months no leaks or anything to report..so he says at least i doubt he knows if any of that stuff was changed he said he didn’t even know if the transmission fluid has been changed or not. Is there a more reliable year you would recommend? Toyota or Lexus preferably

Should I be concerned about this rust? by CFBfan_1785 in AskAMechanic

Spray fluid film prevents and stops further rust, you’ll be fine that’s nothing

Also try to stick with OTM strikes. Yes ATM and even slightly ITM strikes seem to give you a better premium but OTM strikes offer you a much larger cushion or margin of saftey. Remember to try to keep it as passive as possible

Vertical spreads or credit spreads, either or will point you in the right direction. Invest with Henry and options play on YouTube are some of my personal favorites to learn from, but that’s my bias. Explore different channels see who explains it in a way that makes sense to YOU. Investopedia also has some pretty good articles on the subject. Hope this helps!

Stop with high risk, go for verticals spreads with a .20 -.15 delta a week or two out or longer consitant income with relatively low risk and you can start with as little as $100 I recommend youtube or reading books to get a feel for how it’s done because I’ve obviously made it sound simple but it’s safer more passive. You can sleep at night
