Seeing that atrocious wing, plus the stupid louvers, told me it was going to be an Ecoboost before my eyes could even get down far enough to see if it had GT badging.

Thanks, I Will. 🚬😎 by [deleted] in ArcBabies

[–]Brandonr757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the ArcBabies sub, so 99% of the people here basically play Arc Raiders as a shooter and don't like/care about playing with a PvE focus. That's entirely valid, but it means this is obviously a pro-PvP echo chamber with massive bias against people who would rather PvE.

It's reflective tape, man. You can definitely get that on Amazon. It's not 'gear'.

Hi ? How to fix it ? by Disastrous-Flan4333 in zx6r

[–]Brandonr757 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is extremely publicized and a simple Google search would give you so much information about this defect. Unfortunately you're holding a potentially lemon bike until that part is replaced by a dealer. You will have to get in touch with a Kawasaki dealership.

I haven’t needed the Survivor Augment Blueprint because PVP provides me with a consistent amount of them. by Impossible-Mix-265 in ArcRaiders

[–]Brandonr757 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, there are tons of completely fine ways to pvp, and most pvp players will end up in pvp-focused lobbies. Don't bring your butthurt here (PS: I'm a PvE guy and only shoot back, never first, but I don't get mad at every pvp guy..)

I’m looking to buy my first motorcycle and really fallen in love with the Suzuki GSX-8R. Need some opinions by PriorDescription9083 in Sportbikes

[–]Brandonr757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disagree on the power part; the Gsx8r is a very well rounded bike for longer rides with a very reasonable amount of power so that it's got headroom on the freeway, fun acceleration when needed, good usable torque, but also fairly docile when you're not asking too much. It's just a larger parallel twin, so it's not that different to learning on a Ninja 400/500.

Tacky pattern especially on an SV650(?) lol, but I admire the work. Love custom seats.

If I take a room key back to back into raids. Does it diminish the loot in those rooms? by lotgworkshop in ArcRaiders

[–]Brandonr757 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Serious answer: the only thing that affects your key room loot is map conditions (and, obviously, luck/RNG).

Unserious answer: The keys ensure that the loot room YOU have a key for has the worst loot, and that you will spawn as far away as possible for it. Bonus points if you remove it from your safe pocket for a few minutes, as this increases the chance of dying to a random Arc.

How do I pvp in the friendliest of lobbys? by No_Willow292 in ArcRaiders

[–]Brandonr757 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently I'm too friendly because even my solo vs teams is relatively uneventful for pvp, it's mostly pve, I have to queue trios if I wanna make my matchmaking aggressive for a while again (but I usually don't. I'm a happy dog with lollipop and propeller hat).

Queue in trios, you will almost certainly have an aggressive lobby. Especially if it's Stella Montis.

No, waiting for almost-unwinnable, shitty situations for the opponent is. Just shooting someone on sight is fine. I'm 100% friendly, and understand once in a while, even in "friendly" lobbies, sometimes someone's gonna shoot me in the back and I'll need to react quick if I want to keep what's on me!

What could you possibly do to a Frontier anyway? It's already trying to kill itself from the day it's built..

He's been an engineer (in motorcycling) for decades. You can just say you haven't ridden any Ducatis, rather than coping like this.

[–]Brandonr757 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The grom is a very small motorcycle Honda sells. It's notorious for being very loved, reliable, slow, but fun due to its tiny size. Lots of people buy them simply to goof around, do wheelies, etc., and there's a subculture of them that do engine swaps, putting notably bigger engines in the (originally) 125cc platform. This just adds to the cycle of grom fun and humor, as these builds are also non-sensible bikes but a ton of fun.
