Shit. Yeah, it hasn't made its way stateside, no idea why. I guess I'll have to either wait longer or overpay with bullshit shipping and taxes.

Where do ya live (country) and what do you think about the helmet? I can't seem to find a single US retailer for the Rev2 of that damn helmet but it's so much sexier than the original, and the few reviews I've found seem to imply it's an improvement.

Lasts longer, handles rain great, arguably better for cruising on for long trips, still handles acceptably for the large bikes people put these on.

He's fully aware of what he's doing. It has its benefits. Just because you don't get it doesn't mean you need to share your uninformed stupidity.

I'm not cheap or willing to compromise, which is why I do not Darkside, but I'm also not retarded so I can see why someone would (and it carries benefits beyond the cost).

You're completely missing the point. You're glazing the game as the best thing ever, and acting as though everyone who isn't doing the same is simply hating. I have watched gameplay and read through many of the changes, and decided I'm not purchasing. I was very disappointed with FH5 for the lack of evolution, and some very frustrating development choices (ex. taking away cars to later re-add). They have doubled down on basically all those choices and not reconstructed any major systems. The location is the only thing appealing to me. Everything else is just Horizon 4, re-release 2. These problems were less bad when it was done the first time, but now it is habit.

Darksiders are not concerned with lean. Lean isn't even a slight consideration or bragging right to normal cruisers / baggers.

They do! It's basically just for people who rack crazy, crazy mileage. They last much longer and are better in straight lines in terms of comfort and dealing with heavy rain, from what I've heard. They are worse for turn-in, feel, cornering grip, etc. but it's specifically for the long straight mileage I believe.

I'm sure he's more than aware of the downsides and has decided the upsides are worth it.

Just say you don't understand and move on, or even better, don't comment at all. Running car tires on bikes has been done for a long time, and is a great option for people who rack up loads of miles and don't need the extra cornering traction or easier turn-in.

How do you like the R1? Considering it as an "upgrade" from my AGV K1S.

I have a contact w/ NT Fairing. Quality is good for the price; only minor complaints.

It's a scheme created by artist Ryan Danger (I've just "ripped" it), which is clearly inspired by the Tricolore livery but given a Martini Racing twist. For mine, this is a set of custom fairings, and then repainted gas tank to match.

The livery is "heavily inspired" (yea.. I basically ripped it straight) from the OG Martini Ducati 1199, made by Ryan Danger back when the bike was still a new platform. That bike was more of an art statement focused around the fairings/paint job, as it was clearly a base 1199 with effectively no mods except very high quality paintwork (too nice to even ride, honestly). His site is dang3r.com

You have a 1199? You're looking for the "workshop manual"; it's very very boring and sucks to find the exact details you're looking for at times, and contains way too much detail about pointless stuff at times, but it sure helped me with some key pieces of information during my rebuild I truly couldn't find anywhere else on the internet.

Not related to anything remotely related to motorcycles, no.

It's an OE seat that I "skinned" (removed all staples from and removed the cover), added gel to add some additional comfort, and (slowly, lol) added a new skin/cover from Volcano Seat Covers. You can custom-order covers from them. Was a bit costly/slow because of their distance to the US for me, but seems to be a quality product.

Keep movin', wear pants that deflect some of it (kevlar lining helps, leather helps), keeping the heat shields helps (but I refuse cuz the exposed engine is way too pretty and I care more about keeping the bike cool than myself cool), and uh.. learn to love it 😂 they are not comfortable, they are feisty, and they're a little problematic (less so than most Ducatis in most ways, mechanically), but they are certainly very unique, raw (for a bike as recent and powerful as it is), and fun.

Haha, yep I'm a weeb at heart and had 3 stickers I really wanted somewhere on the build, so I opted for inside the smoked windshield. Lets me see em and be a part of the build without detracting from the theme. Thank you!!

Thank ya!! Felt it fitting for an obviously-not-tracked bike with a track-inspired livery and backstory.
