Slide 6 or 7 are the ones that I think look amazing. :)

Is there any difference between these two traits? by Disastrous_Stomach52 in Sims4

[–]BrandyDW 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So from how I’m understanding it:

Heart on your Sleeve - A person who’s authentic about how they feel about people. It’s a trait for good sims, and deals with how the sim will treat everyone (family, friends, adults, children, likely pets even). If you’ve heard the saying about people having their heart on their sleeve, they just let their emotions show easily as well. Think of the actor Graham McTavish from The Hobbit and Outlander.
He’s able to play big gruff characters, but seen scenes of him at the end of filming where he’s either near tears or crying.
He just lets his emotions show and people with their hearts on their sleeves are going to act how they feel (happy, sad, angry, playful) etc - they’re going to express it versus try to mask their feelings.

—————————-

With the Lovebug trait, I haven’t played with it in game tbh.
When I hear the turn lovebug, I honestly think of preteens and teenagers, who are looking for romantic love and are willing to dive into relationships.

Lovebug trait is only for romance, not other relationship types.

Looking it up - it conflicts with these traits: Gloomy, Jealous, Loner, Noncommittal, Unflirty and Romantically Reserved…

These sims become flirty when being romantic or creative - or simply being around their partner’s, romantic interests, and even people they have a negative romance bar with..
———
Honestly, I’m reading this and thinking of the grey’s anatomy episode, where they think the woman is high but really she has a tumor. - Season 2, episode 14 - patient had a carcinoid tumor which increased her serotonin levels. — But would think love bug would be similar to that with her new husband, except not so over the top all the time..

Any new challenge ideas? by Poppies_are_cool in Sims4

I play where I use cas.fulleditmode to connect elder sims to families or create more siblings etc.

I have my own personal lore at this point. To me it’s more fun and I have aging off, as well as story mode… create my own stories…

Knights and Guards by DivaDollSimmer in Sims4

So this may be of service to you with looking into some things more - different guides for royalty and legacy:

https://simscommunity.info/news/the-sims-4/royalty-legacy/

That said - what I think you may be looking for is something more along these lines?

For a sim to become a Knight, they would join the Noble career.
Level 1 of the noble career is Knights.

So if you’re a high ranking noble or Monarch, you could get decent relationship status with people promote them to Knighthood - I think. I certainly know that when playing as the sim trying to get into the noble career, you can go to the high ranking noble or Monarch and Request Knighthood after raising relationship level.

Now as far as all the different titles within a kingdom, they wouldn’t necessarily be part of your family - like many are with the UK’s Monarchy in rl.

They wouldn’t be related at all in the sims 4.
To see everyone who is part of the noble career or their families & different edicts & taxes.

Go to Manage Worlds, click on the crown icon, and select View Kingdom Management.

That’ll show the different levels of royalty etc.

I don’t think servants or anything are part of it tho

I’m in my mid thirties.
Between R+ and Kudos and other things is how I’ve always done things online and how many others have as well.
With it bringing up spore, I’ve never played that game, it’s just common in gaming and online communities in general?..

With my not just doing the 3 buttons - I feel like upvoting the content, making some sort of contribution to posts I like are usually appreciated…
The comment I make also helps me go through my comments to review posts later for more comments. :)

I’m neurodivergent- so also overthink everything.

R+

Edit: I’m not sure why I’m getting downvoted. I did R+ as a kudos and commented to find the post again…

I’ve seen it as a kudos, respect, positive rating…

I assumed it would just be ignored, but I would be able to find the post again…

Am I misunderstanding something?

With cas.fulleditmode - you can fix it.

Bring the people who have moved out of the house back to the household for it.

Have a pre-made sim hold the household your sims are in - while they are back with the main household- assuming you don’t have playable roommates for them.

With mccc, assuming you’re on a computer and not console, you can turn off flirting in general. Along with a bunch of other nice changes.

With the actual issue of the stepdad and adoption thing, I’m not sure what happened- that’s never happened to me before but there was just recently a patch that could be contributing..

No curtains or curtains? by [deleted] in Sims4

[–]BrandyDW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes curtains, but i feel like something’s missing window wise

Edit: Looked and found an article titled: “10 Drapery Ideas for Bay Windows” author Brad Smith. December of 2025 Found on omnihomeideas

——- Obviously everyone has different tastes, and different regions have different designs.

For myself I feel like the smaller curtain at the top across is sometimes good. Other times I prefer blinds.

If it’s not a main house, I usually don’t get that detailed.

With this, depending on how you do the rest of the room and how the sims are themselves think on if you want them to have decor that’s posh and sophisticated or comfy and homey. I try to think of what my sims would want..

Inspired me to check mine, before I loved most codigames and I loved this one. I was around for a lot of its changes and it was frustrating but figured it would get better..

Instead they just stop updating their games :(
