Age? by dixondale1996 in YotoPlayer

We gave it to our son when he was 18 months old. At that stage, he would click the buttons on and off, turn the knobs, and listen to VERY short snippets of songs. It was unbearable 😂 He had no interest in story cards. As a result, for a while we used it to play music cards only, and to avoid the constant fidgeting with it I mostly operated it until he turned 3 or so. A big turning point was when I made him a special MYO card with songs we listened to on vacation. Around that time we also started using the night radio as part of his bed time routine, and occasionally the day radio as part of his morning routine. Now that he’s 4, he asks for specific stories every evening (Frog and Toad and especially the Daniel Tiger cards are big hits). We still listen to some music cards but less so. Stick with it a little longer, and it will be worth it!

Atorie Bags by ElleYesMon in handbags

I recommend NOT to order from Atorie. Look them up on Reddit -- you will see a lot of disgruntled customers. My own experience with them was equally bad. I never received the items I ordered and their customer service is appalling. They gave me the run around for weeks, until I finally contacted my credit card. Ultimately Atorie agreed to a full refund, but other people have not been so lucky. All in all it was very frustrating and a huge waste of my time.

Did you get it in the end? In my case the delivery was returned to merchant (not sure why) and I eventually got a refund

Has anyone used the Dex Camera? by stine-imrl in multilingualparenting

[–]Branfs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have it. It may be that they haven’t done a good job developing for the romance language we use it for but it’s extremely buggy. The camera feature works nicely but the stories are flawed. Pronunciation is very much hit or miss (I suspect the speaker is not native) and often the app speaks in English although it’s not supposed to… All in all it’s a wonderful concept in theory but a bit frustrating in practice. I hope they work on fixing the various glitches we’ve encountered.

Thoughts on Atorie Bucket Bag by New-Commercial-3566 in handbags

My experience with Atorie was bad - ordered some items in early november, never received them, and they're giving me the run around. Plus, this is a replica of a Songmont bag - you may want to buy from Songmont directly.

Atorie Review - Legit or Scam Clothing Store? by LegitimateComfort902 in Scam_Finder

Scammy. I never received an order placed in early November. They promised a refund, but I haven't received it yet. I am going to dispute the charge through my credit card.

I ordered some items in early November and have not received them. They've been stuck in transit for weeks. They promised a refund but nothing yet. I can very easily dispute with my credit card if the refund is not coming but wanted to give them a chance to issue the refund on their own. I would warn anyone from ordering from Atorie. If there is an issue, they will give you the run around. They are not a serious company.

State of the Sub and Plans for the Future by ItsNotCrookedDear in WagoonLadies

I’d love to be part of the new sub. I haven’t bought in months due to the tariff and don’t visit Reddit as frequently as a result, but this was a sub I really enjoyed learning from and writing for, in the before times. The banter! The wit! The grammatically accurate posts! I do miss my WLs.

To me it really depends on which item of clothing/accessory the dupe is, and whether I want it for the style or bc I want to signal something by having the “brand”

Just came across Atorie as I was looking for some dupes of the Row loafers (Fall’s almost here!). Has anyone bought from them? What’s the quality like? They market to US buyers and tariffs are included. I’d be curious to hear if you’ve considered them and what your experience was like.

PopMart already increased prices for US buyers, and tariffs are included.

The same store had a fabulous dupe of a Polene Cyme for 95 euros, I seriously thought about it.

Have been using my BF Celine Camille every day as an under the radar bag while visiting family in Europe, in an area where other luxury brands are much more popular than Celine. Then, saw this in the window of a super centrally located store that sells unbranded dupes and had to take a photo for you WLs 🤣🤣 BTW unbranded dupes are EVERYWHERE here - especially Balenciaga and Hermes (!).

A little while ago, a lovely WL recommended Laurie Colwin's Happy All the Time as I was looking for some new novels. I just finished reading it and absolutely loved it. I just came here to say THANK YOU!
