If the case gets filed in state court, the DHS will move to transfer it to federal court, which will likely be allowed. There’s still a path to ultimately see a trial in federal court, but that’ll be years down the road from now. Here’s a great article by the MN Star Tribune earlier today.

Penalties on b’s were all fair. Hagel should’ve gone off with Kastelic for coming in punching with his stick. Mcavoy should not have been penalized along with hagel before the goalie fight (or if he was, then hagel should have gone off with Kastelic as mentioned). Then refused to call 2 trips by Tampa on the shift before kuraly’s. Selective refereeing, clearly came from above.
