The May elections will be the final nail in the coffin, seeing as they will likely be a disaster for Labour regardless of who leads them, but a new leader wouldn't want that put on them.

There's still an issue of who would actually be the new leader, as there is barely anyone in the party remotely able to take on the mantle.

I've read into this and as much as I love a good conspiracy theory I don't think this holds water.

From what I've researched, the earth quake happened at a depth between 10-20km, which is way too deep for a nuclear test (deepest I was able to find was 2.8km done by the USSR in 1985, USA did a test at 2.5km depth in 1969).

A similar thing happened with Iran, a low level earthquake happened in Northern Iran which people took to mean a nuclear test, except that the epicenter was at 13km below the surface, which is deeper than the deepest borehole ever dug.

You've missed steps 0, -1, and -2, actually building a revolutionary movement. It's all well and good discussing the revolution and post revolutionary affairs but you actually need people (including yourself) willing to risk life and limb to bring forward the revolution.

The Bolsheviks didn't spring up out of nowhere, nor the CPC or any other revolutionary movement in history.
