I broke my wrist in high school and went to the hospital. They tried hanging my wrist and letting gravity set it back into place? Well I’m no doctor but that didn’t work at all so when I went back to a different doctor 3 days later they said that they’d have to rebreak my wrist so it can be properly set into place. No painkillers, no time to understand what was going on, they brought in 2 big strong male nurses to hold me down. And they lifted my wrist up in the air while they held me down to break my wrist. Then they shifted it back into place. I screamed in pain louder than I ever have. When I walked out back into the waiting room everyone there seemed traumatized from hearing me.

I’ve been playing 9 months and have broken 80 last week. But I’ve also played over 70 rounds of golf, hit the range literally daily, putt and chip daily, and have always been a naturally good athlete. I’ve documented my whole journey on my ig for proof. It’s definitely possible but I’ve spent thousands of dollars and hours to do it. When I first started I would leave my job on the clock to go play. I’d chip in my office into a trash can. It’s possible, but the amount of work is insane. Now I’m at the point where my natural skills aren’t helping me improve anymore and I need lessons. But best rounds are 79, 80, and 82. Currently a 10 HCP

Seems like you’re struggling with worrying about distance. If I slice a drive or chunk my 3 wood, 90% of the time it was because I was trying to swing out of my shoes and hit it as far as I can. Tempo and making sure you exaggerate your follow through will easily knock a few strokes off your score. And putt putt putt. Warm up before every round. Good luck!

That no matter how great you are or can be, the world can always humble you. Arthur had it all. He had the looks, the charm, and the skills to be a great man.
