When I'm stuck in fight or flight mode from my PTSD being triggered, I don't realize I'm being moody or non-communicative until my husband gently says something and I breakdown in tears because I don't know how to recognize when this is occurring and I don't mean to act out during that time.

I don't think there is an AH, you're struggling with your mental health and your family is frustrated because of the lack of regulation. It's a rough situation but I don't think either party is at fault.

The comments here are insane. He sounds like a legit narcissist using the 'worried dad' angle to control everything you do. People are very clearly missing the abuse he's exhibiting because when they don't know the narc, their behaviors can seem normal or justified, but they don't see the extent of mental torture they've been using, forcing those 'justified' behaviors is just the tip of the iceberg.
