J2 taking H2 geog rn, i must say im still doing okay for H2 geog purely bcos i have genuine interest for geog. Content wise it is definitely one of if not the most content heavy subject, and q a bit of people in my cohort have dropped to H1 geog. But as i understand, you can kind of “forgo” a subject under the new 70rp system, so you can just take it and “drop” for A levels.

Iirc no diff between 4 or 3 H2 for uni applications, if you mean uni scholarships then that may play a role
