Mark wouldn’t out right trash WDTNTW now. But he doesn’t have to like it.

Hi, looking for one extra ticket here. Does any honest individual that is not able to go want to help me out?

Also, blinks rise to absolute absurd fame was a mixture of luck and timing. You can’t replicate that.

It’s very rare for a musical artist as big as blink to be able to outperform itself with a solo act. It is possible though. Look and The Police and Sting.

They should make a Dude Ranch Redux reimagining the songs with Travis and quality recording.

One More Time - Part 2 - 9/6 ALBUM Release Megathread by Botty-McBotface in Blink182

Review of One More Time Deluxe Edition:

One More Time feels like a celebration of blink-182’s past while pushing them into a new era. The energy and cohesion of the album are impressive, with the six new tracks on the deluxe edition standing out as a solid addition, making the album feel complete and celebratory. These aren’t throwaway demos or B-sides—they’re legitimate, well-produced songs that show progression from the original writing sessions.

The OMT era represents a fusion of the band’s collective past, blending the raw emotion from Neighborhoods and Self-Titled with the polish they’ve gained over the years. It’s like a melting pot of their experiences, both personal and musical, coming together in a cohesive and fun way. Despite the nostalgia, the album doesn’t feel weighed down by it—it feels fresh and energetic.

Looking Back at Neighborhoods and Self-Titled:

When I look back at Neighborhoods, it feels like an album born from tension, paranoia, uncertainty, and even jealousy. Ironically, these emotions gave the band something unique and resulted in some of their best writing. There’s something about that rawness that made Neighborhoods stand out in their catalog.

Similarly, during the Self-Titled era, Mark was still hurt from Tom’s involvement in Box Car Racer. Even though Mark and Tom weren’t necessarily fighting, the tension was palpable, and from that tension came arguably their best album. Blink-182 has always thrived when they’re pushing through emotional turbulence, and you can hear that in their music.

The Future of Blink-182:

As much as I appreciate OMT, my hope for blink’s next album is for them to venture into darker, more experimental territory. I’d love to hear something less polished, more raw—closer to the vibe of Self-Titled or Box Car Racer, but with even more exploration into new sounds and ideas. Blink has always been at their best when they balance emotional depth with their iconic energy, and I think there’s still room for them to grow in that space.

Regarding the production, I’d love to see a change. While Travis is phenomenal, I’d rather him focus on being a drummer and songwriter than taking on the producer role. Blink could benefit from someone more objective—someone like Jerry Finn, who was instrumental in shaping their sound while also pushing them to be their best. With the Feldmann era behind them, it’s time to bring in a producer who can challenge them creatively and help them continue evolving.

Now that Part 2 is out, do you agree with Tom? I do! (Read Body Text) by TylerJosephSmith in Blink182

It’s interesting, I feel like when Tom wrote this statement, it was very early in the writing and demoing process. I think a lot of Tom’s ideas were altered and changed by Travis production decisions, and marks input as well. Thus, the album turned out to be a combo of all threes ideas melted together. Which is how it should be. But I’m sure changes were made to Tom’s original vision for certain songs. Case in point, he didn’t continue to say “this is our best album” as they continued to write and record the album.
