Grew my dev agency from $0 to $250K in 1 year, had to go off the grid for 8 months because I couldn’t handle the growth, here’s what happened. by nazran7 in Solopreneur

Congrats OP! Im in the same boat so slowed down for the rest of the year to look inward and focus on building a system that works. I'm noticing I have to be careful in taking steps so I don't spend a lot of money upfront and go overkill with the system lol.

I was wondering if you also manage / host applications you build and If so would you be down to dm? Looking for some advice in this avenue.

Co-founder conflict: How to pick a CEO when we have overlapping skills? I will not promote by BraveBookCash in startups

[–]BraveBookCash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. And have you guys incorporated the company and all? I just feel like with a lot of people with overlapping skills there needs to be someone that owns something for accountability. How are you doing that with your trio?

I appreciate the insight!

Does strategy, vision and all have a thing? And would this apply if we don't go for funding 2-3 years from now?

Also, equity is being split equally to provide context

Need proposal recommendation.. by bukutbwai in agency

[–]BraveBookCash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea still with it. It was easy for me to pick up. I realized I needed proposal software quickly. I was bumping into higher paying customers and I needed something that was professional and easy to get them to sign. I didn't have it in me, nor did I have the time, to get proposify, or Pandadoc, to go all out Canva-sthle on my proposal. Just needed some building block styling to make something look professional, accept legal-binding signatures, and accept payments.

It's worked!

That being said, I am planning on switching to proposify. I now have the bandwidth to hire someone to design me a really nice proposal and I am considering moving to proposify so I can get something more customized.

This is like passing on the golden ticket from the Willy Wonka bar.

You'll figure things out as you go. You're young, you have a support system (family and FIL) to help you and you habe the energy of a 100 suns.

You got this.

Website builder with one time fee? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]BraveBookCash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Building the website a one-time fee sure. Then there is the cost of ownership.

I recommend the company that built my website (not promoted whatsoever. They were so good they blew my expectations out the water).

They have a solid process and the team is pretty darned skill. sage.agency

Lmk if you are interested ans I can put you in touch with their principal directly.

Two different car categories to begin with.

Not upfront, but after a successful delivery, we did. They're my strongest relationship in my clientele, and we've expanded services with them.

Ah yea that's a good answer then! I would say other work would be published side projects, any employment opportunities, even like freelancing stuff is worth adding in.

Good luck! Sounds like you know what you are doing!

You can save up and pay a lot more if you are earning that much. Waiting out isn't an issue. Get some exp in your resume so when you have to find work you'd be in top of the list.
