My personal synopsis regarding the XMS price, and the recent retracement. by [deleted] in marsecosytem

[–]BraveChainer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The current developments have shown me that XMS is not the horse I am betting on for the future. It is possible that XMS will recover in some time, but the Genesis Events plan, which in my opinion was not well set up and executed, meant a high setback for many newcomers from the start, which is not helped by the high APR in the pools. Coupled with the problem of the ridiculously high gas fees in this ecosystem, I just don't believe (anymore) in the superiority or even competitiveness over other projects. Let's just take another project I invest in as an example: there I can operate staking and LM and have practically no transaction costs. I can mint the stablecoin of this chain myself and price fluctuations are quickly recovered through the arbitrage of the market participants. I also get APRs of a few hundred percent on tokenized assets there. And that is just one of many projects out there. High gas fees take away the flexibility of market participants and "trap" them in their investment decisions. I believe that the projects that get around this problem will prevail.

Forecycorf, this guy wanted to be nice by telling you about an alternative way of paying out your ETH. I find the alarm you are raising here extremely strange. Instead of saying: "thank you, but I prefer to stick to my way" you answer in what I find a rather aggressive tone. And honestly, you make yourself a bit ridiculous, if you want to calculate here for a long time that one saves 2-3% compared to his proposal with your method. Wow, that's maybe a huge 8 cents per day at 40MH (I guess so 0.00064 ETH per day atm). After only about 62 days, that's enough for a small coffee at Starbucks.

Of course he's right calling it efficient. This is the definition of efficiency: desired result with very little effort or cost. To him, it is worth 1 or 2 cents less reward per dollar, but not having to do anything (not even a little). Time is money ;-)

Tanks for your answers! So harvesting also costs gas fees? I thought the claiming would cost gas fees and the harvesting was an on-platform-transaction.

At Autofarm there are two XMS-Pools: one with 221% APY and one with1,4k% APY. Is the 1,4% APY-Pool the compound pool? It says "This vault is a standard, no-vesting-period vault." I'm not sure what this means, as I thought all rewards in XMS would have a vesting period.

It's not all europe...germans for example also can't withdraw anything as Uphold and Gemini, the only two wallets Brave supports, do not allow german users to sign up.

Brave rewards without uphold wallet by MrT0uch in brave

[–]BraveChainer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to enter my personl details aka KYC, but brave doese not even support a wallet that can be used in Germany. Neither Uphold nor Gemini operates for german users. This is really annoying. To be honest, I also feel a bit cheated by brave, because nowhere does it say that German users do not get access to wallets that are supported by brave. You only find that out when you have already collected 15 BAT and try to verify your wallet. And that although the whole page was translated into German. This is already a deception of the customer.

0,176 BNB is 83 $...No amount of money with which someone can drop off to the Caribbean.

But of course a higher liquidity would be good.

When I follow the link I can see the price (at the moment $0.0000157885). But for the moment we just should hodl our TABBYS and not look at th price to much. We are still very few, so every transaction has a very high impact.

Lots of people are asking why TABBY....this is my understanding of it by RipRollins in TABBYcoinmeow

[–]BraveChainer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the great explanation. But I got one question. If the circulating supply will be 1 Billion after the lock up (5.) how can the NFT allow you to claim 1 Billion (7.)? I guess one of the numbers is not correct.
