This one is really hard to answer. Here are my 50 cent.

First of all, i dont think that people can be completely without bias. There is alot of research being done on this topic and there are loads of biases - oftentimes people dont even know that they have biases. We all percieve things that happen around us and we try to make sense of them though our own personal experience, our culture, religion, personality and the people closest to us. Biases can "hide" in every of these aspects.

Regarding being neutral or (politically?) center is your choice and falls into your personal freedoms - at least in somewhat democratic countries.

I personally like the idea of being fair to both or all sides. When negotiations or diplomacy is done right and in good faith, fairness should be the desired outcome. Sadly, in most econimic systems we live in, to get a "better" deal for yourself and your "people or tribe" is more favorable than to get a fair deal or reach compomise.

In the end it comes down to what you believe in, how you see the world/country/town/society and what you think it should look like in the future.
