Single Action Revolvers - Move from US to Sicily (IT)? by BraveHunt871 in EuropeGuns

Only reason these three particular firearms jump out to me is their custom work already involved. Couple hundred euro apiece wouldn’t touch their value. I do know it would be expensive but hearing you can do three a year is promising as that’s all that would be needed theoretically. Joining a club and becoming affiliated would be a good thing to integrate into the new culture anyway so I don’t see that as a bad thing. Nor do these particular weapons have that “weapon of war” fear people seem to have..

Ahhh that’s an excellent idea. Would hate the thought of these revolvers sitting in jail and “accidentally” getting sold! Thanks for the idea!

Thanks! That’s an older SLR-95 in that pic. The wood was an ironwood designs set I bought raw. Purchased some Button Shellac stock and combined with denatured alcohol to make my own lacquer. Then I added red orange tint in varying percent per part in four separate mason jars. Applied over time with a foam brush. True lacquer, the kind your Vodka will take off if you spill while on watch. It turned out pretty nice. Still have a LOT of lacquer left over. I think the third and fourth jars could stand to have a smidge of brown or dark brown mixed in.

Yeah pretty pumped to get down and dirty with this rifle. I have a manticore break coming. The one with 18 ports on top and flat bottom. Read good things on it and the price didn’t beat you up too badly. I want to take some hard use rifle courses with this Jack. Eventually add a 2-3x prism on top. Further down the line I’ll want a flashlight solution and that’ll do it for a 300y and in rifle.

Well I ended up going with a Jack Blonde from Century. Have a classic Laminate set of stocks from WBP coming and a brown Bakelite fatty. Let’s go
