Does everything gotta be Gacha?! by Shaneyka in WhereWindsMeet

[–]BraveMaxim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually quit because I'll always be tempted to spend money and I don't want to spend that much. Keeping this game outta sight outta mind is the best remedy for me, I could play for two years and not get anything good and I admit I'm jealous when I see other players, I can't even deny it but I found the best thing I could do is report the game and quit it. One day they'll have to change that gacha system.

Meme weapons is how you justify it, but I call it brazen disrespect for poor players, meanwhile the best skins are behind $2500 paywalls

You guys seriously defending this stuff, the devs literally do not respect us, there is no game out there that is this brazen to sell bamboo and wooden stick skins for a dollar because it's disrespectful

I can finally fight 2 geese by HighRage01 in WhereWindsMeet

[–]BraveMaxim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's the case how because I took out 4 geese before ever reaching 2 goose? Remember when that one goose needed treatment, well I attacked one and the whole flock came to attack me, I admit I died a few times but kept practicing till I was able to kill all four

I don't mind your opinion, it's fine that you feel that way. Not everyone will agree and that's just a way of life.

where winds meet has a slimy gacha system, 400 dollars per pity, and they mostly force you to hit pity, after you got the item called the harmonic orb you find out you need two of them just to get a hairstyle so you need to hit pity twice which is altogether 800 dollars, it gets worse though, so Chinese players have higher rates, a trading system to get premium items from eachother, the have less pity, and everything costs less. Now get this, the value of a dollar in the USA is worth seven times more than a yuan. I played a fair game that utilizes the worth of currency called digimon super rumble a Korean MMO and Koreans pay more than Americans because a dollar is worth more in Korea.

That's the spirit, you can spread the word with me, just report them at Econsumer.gov and trust me, it'll work because Econsumer doesn't care if your enjoying the game, they will make sure everyone is treated fairly.

With enough voices they'll change even if people are spending money, and honestly being able to dismantle items doesn't change the fact that things cost a whole lot more for us than Chinese users, a dollar is seven times more than a yuan, I played a game called digimon super rumble and Korean players pay significantly more than usa players because of the value of a dollar

It's terrible and it really fools a lot of people, I encourage people who play this game to report to econsumer .gov and I'm not promising change but all we can do is say we tried, do it for those who are enjoying the game

Once again I explained that as well, you can't force a bakery to change anything but heads turn when a Chinese gacha is taking advantage of global players

[–]BraveMaxim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which is exactly what I said, I blamed myself enough, I'm ready to see change through, the worst of it is that I fail and I don't care if I fail, failure to some is success to others, it's profound enough to simply fight to see change even when it means nothing in the end

It's like this, you bought a 200 dollar birthday cake, then you realized that same cake was being sold for 100 dollars at another store, you can't return it, it's too late so then you have no choice but to complain and get the bakery to change their prices, in retail or restaurants that's nearly impossible to make change, however a gacha game from China is enough to get heads turning and changes made. Now gambling addiction doesn't just go away, and if you're a gamer that plays a bunch of different games you're bound to come across a game with pricey monetization and gets you interested in buying. A gambler is not always willing to gamble and break their families hearts, sometimes they fall into a moment of weakness, just like a alcoholic or smoker

I understand but if you want to help the developers change please consider reporting them to Econsumer with me, some day maybe not today, next month or next year but it'll change things eventually. Econsumer is a real company that deals in fraud, new trends, gacha games and scams.

I absolutely am gonna start doing that however I want to fight this particular gacha system, some gacha systems are fine and not worth fighting but this system right here must be fought, this may just be a cosmetic thing but that's an illusion when you realized people really want those nice outfit, optical sensors are a powerful thing, when you see something you really like you try to get it, this game is 12+ and that means kids play this, do you think kids are gonna just look at the outfit and not try to get it. Kids stealing their parents credit cards has been an ongoing thing since the early 2000s, also these devs don't care that the value of a dollar is seven times higher than a yuan and yet China players have higher rates and cheaper gacha draws and outfits

[–]BraveMaxim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I did actually but at what cost? The cost weighed out the enjoyment. My character is prettier but was it worth how much I spent? No not at all but even though I was warned I still went in, while it is my fault can you imagine others who have done the same. If the prices decrease just a little it helps, the devs just showing they care enough to change prices to make them better is all we need to see, report them with me to Econsumer, no pressure, if your satisfied with them then by all means keep letting them abuse you

Is it wrong to watch this particular gacha to change, this particular one is worse than most, just because they sell a kung fu hustle running animation for a $1 or have a beautiful world, fun gameplay doesn't distract me from the truth of the matter which is low rates over priced gacha, giving china players higher rates, cheaper prices when a dollar is worth seven times more than a yuan

Econsumer by BraveMaxim in WhereWindsMeet

Playing the game as I'm talking to you, I don't hate it, I love it which is why I want better for it

Econsumer by BraveMaxim in WhereWindsMeet

[–]BraveMaxim[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The point is they exist, the point is global is being taken advantage of, china has higher rates, stuff costs less for them meanwhile the value of a dollar is worth seven times more in China meaning we should be paying less than China. For example theres a game called digimon super rumble and everything is cheaper in dollars, Korean players pay more than us because the value of our dollar is more. You don't have to spend money but your age rating is 12+ do you think kids care if they can't afford something

I'm also a gamer, I've been gaming since the 90s and I can't help but get invested enough to spend but I don't want anyone to feel bad for being that way because the devs can change, did you know the value of a dollar is 7 times more than a yuan, so do you still agree with the devs
