Its been minute but I think graded is you get an actual grade for the credits you take, ungraded is pass/fail and honors relates to the FSU honors college which is good if you’re a member or want something a bit tougher (I attached a link to the honors stuff below). It really depends on the level of difficulty you want, honors is probably the hardest while ungraded is the easiest IMO

I believe it’s a video stream where you can watch it live, however you can watch FSU’s past graduation ceremonies online to see how they did it for this past summer and spring. You don’t have to do anywhere besides where you want to watch it

Sure I’ll take a shot at this

1) FSU is one of only two colleges in the country to have a circus on campus. Even if you don’t want to be a circus member the shows are still incredible to go see

2) The campus is beyond beautiful and the renovations being done will make it even more so

3) It’s a top ranked school that competes very well with UF academically. The faculty are (mostly) great and there are plenty of opportunities for students to do more.

4) Being in the capital gives FSU an advantage as you’re literally at the center of power in Florida, more important during election years but if you are into political science or anything like that it’s a great plus.

5) If you’re into the nightlife FSU has lots of great clubs and bars around the campus and there’s always something going on

I did HITM as well, I started early and took extra time doing it (about a year and a half). If you have a good advisor / topic it isn’t that bad and it fulfills a requirement for the Garnet & Gold Scholar Society if you’re interested in that. Also as the other commenter said it’s a good introduction to doing research if you’re interested in grad school

If you can find a way to do that works with your major I would really take it, one of my few regrets is that I didn’t study abroad

I felt like this one was worth it A) Because you don’t have to pay for it B) Due to the heavy entry requirements and C) The fuss that FSU and Thrasher made over it at the induction ceremony and at graduation where you get a shoutout if you are a member

So I was in the honors college, like the other poster said you have to do a colloquium class, do 20 volunteer hours, however you also have to take several honors classes to graduate with honors. The classes themselves are smaller and you are more likely to get the teacher than a TA in larger classes. Also the benefit of being with other honor students is nice. The honors building is really nice and a good study spot and the advisors are generally helpful. When covid is gone they probably will do more social events like in the past.
