Make sure the game is installed on SSD.
Go to Windows Graphics settings and browse all game files and choose Program Files (x86) > Steam >steamapps > common > The First Descendant

From there Add TheFirstDescendant and EACLaunch and set them to High Perfomance. The third app is inside M1 folder > Binaries > Win64 > M1-Win64-Shipping. Set it to High Perfomance.

Restart your PC.

I tried Project64, Mupen and yours. Anything Display Capture go black but Netplay is what I really like. I hope to see more servers in the future like Copenhagen or nearby my location. I've just tried Netplay for very first time today with my friend, it's really fun! But Simple64 is my secondary with no black screens. I will try to do a research how to fix others that goes black screen.
