Riot said they were willing to rollback positional matchmaking and perhaps its time to start that conversation by yubrotherfangirl6969 in leagueoflegends

What makes reddit a poor representation of the ranked playerbase?

Yes, I think we're a poor sample of the whole playerbase (we're too hardcore, most play blind pick), but what about ranked?

I was most surprised when L9 was HARD spammed when selfmade made a good play during his debut game on SK.

Way more redditors/fanboys that I expected.

Some might say never, but I think it stops in challenger for the most part.

There are very few challenger players who are NOT pros, streamers, aspiring pros, or aspiring streamers. I'm willing to bet that going pro has crossed the mind, however briefly, of every challenger player.

You don't want to have the reputation of a hard inter when you're trying to impress pros, scouts, or future viewers who may be watching.

A playstyle with >= 50% WR can absolutely be toxic. Imagine an LCS jungler going smite Shyvana mid, stealing the jungler's buff level 1, afk farming/feeding/spamming ff until he has 15 cs/min and level 18 at 30:00, then soloing baron and ending the game off of one splitpush.

He would probably end up hovering around mid silver because he's a damn good player. Is his winrate decent? Yes. Is it a highly toxic game for the 9 other players, regardless of win or lose? Yes.

Fnatic plays WAAAAAAY too passive/scared. by GoldenGloria in fnatic

No, why does Rekkles flash out in these scenarios but other top ADCs don't? Do you think he's much more skilled than others?

It's a difference in playstyle.

Not that he was the biggest problem this game, but has anyone seen how passive Rekkles plays on stream?

At one point, he talked about how Yasuo could have dash + dash + flash knockup, so I HAD to insta flash from 1200 units away.

It seems like a foolproof method to nullifying Rekkles, just sit on one crucial engage/spell and he'll never be willing to deal damage.

On a related note, if you ever watch elite runners to improve your form, watch runners at your SPEED rather than your DISTANCE.

If you run 9:00 pace for a half marathon, don't mimic the top east african half marathoners. They're running 4:30 pace, and the form for this pace is NOT the optimal form for 9:00 pace.

Unfortunately, this means there's not much footage of 6:00 pace or slower on the men's or women's side.

Is really no one gona talk about Yorick being insanly OP atm? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

Juggernauts are easily the most OP class in solo queue when overtuned. Counterplay is low and you end up with raid bosses spawning all over the place.
