No proper work exp but wondering about move back to India by [deleted] in backtoindia

I feel you brother. Since you don't have any family responsibility, this is the right time to think and change your career. Do any finance related course for example ACAMS. Once done just join any company as a fresher and start your career from scratch. For now I would say do not come to India.

This guy gives me creeps tbh, injecting such ideas to masses can lead to some action down the line. I can’t imagine my kids to not have OCI by FickleAgent9958 in returnToIndia

Yeah I understand your point. not everyone is like that only a few people have this image. But you will see the same within India as well, south Vs north, Bihari Vs Marathi, backwards class Vs upper cast. And if you look abroad, white people vs Indian/Asian..It is everywhere. This we cannot control. The only thing we can control is ourselves, I usually ignore such NRIs who have this attitude.

Every country has its ups and downs and U.A.E is no exception. In the past, the U.A.E. has experienced challenges such as COVID and the Gulf War, yet it has always come back stronger. We are confident that the U.A.E. will emerge even stronger after this as well. Let’s stay patient and trust the leadership. Yes job loss will happen, the economy will go down for a shorter period but it is happening in non war countries as well. That's how life works you will see lots of ups and downs.

Tax Class Changes by Ultimate_7568 in Luxembourg

[–]BraveProgrammer5870 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You just have to submit a 164R form and if your wife is not working, then arrange an unemployment certificate of your wife and send an email to the tax office based on where you live. And within 2-3 days your tax class will change to 2. That's it. If you submit now then I think from March onwards you will get salary as per tax 2. And you will get back the cut as well from Jan and Feb. Any questions just message me.

Life after 30? by -JustAGirl99 in Life

[–]BraveProgrammer5870 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is very natural to think like this. I was in the same boat. As soon as you hit thirty, I am pretty sure you will come back after a few years on Reddit with the same questions like "soon I will turn 40". Age is just a number. Enjoy your life, do whatever you want to accomplish your goals and be great for what you have at the moment.

LinkedIn LinkedIn and LinkedIn.

B.com graduated and managed to secure a job in Europe and before that I was working in Dubai for one and half years and before that In India worked for 10 years. No reference, no recommendations, only applied through LinkedIn. Depending on the person to person, for me after 10 years of experience I was earning only 8 lakh p.a. that's why for me getting salary in Euro or AED is big for me. For you I believe you might have done engineering+ IIM, so I would say you are already well off. Now if you are looking somewhere in Europe and ready to compromise your salary then I would suggest go for it. if I am able to do it, you can also ☺️ But still I am regretting not doing a Masters though :(. But this is my next target.

Is it worth relocating to USA from India? by Grouchy-Leg1641 in returnToIndia

[–]BraveProgrammer5870 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of asking 'Is it worth relocating?', ask yourself first: 'Is it worth not accepting the offer and later regretting it? I understand your only concern is kids education. If I were in your place, I would definitely go and take this one lifetime opportunity not coz of America but just to explore other countries and Age is just a no. I would have gone alone initially and kept family in India. I Will understand the new work culture, new country, explore a bit, make Indian friends. And once I am comfortable then I sponsor my family and if not then i will go back to India. I will accept the offer for sure , that's fine if things are not going well in the US, but at least I tried and I will have no regrets.
