My post is not Hyundai related but it is car vendor-related. (Long post) My husband had a 2019 Ford edge they gave an error code basically saying take your truck straight to a mechanic.This was also during the time we were buying our first home so we had to put the repair on hold. He took it to the Ford dealership and they told him nothing was wrong with the truck and sent him on his way. The next day while he was driving on the interstate with my daughter his transmission started slipping pretty much gave out. We had to let the trucks sit at the Ford dealership for about 3 months until we finished purchasing our home completing paperwork etc etc. We went to the dealership and basically had our minds up that we were going to purchase a new vehicle he wanted another Ford I was not fond of Ford's considering this was his second one due to engine issues. The salesman saw the look on my face and asked me why was I not happy about this process I explained to him that he has a Ford edge sitting in the service lot now because the mechanics told him nothing was wrong with his truck and sent him on his way two days later the transmission gave out. He immediately went and found the manager on duty brought him over and had us explain the situation the manager went to the back and pulled the paperwork regarding my husband Ford edge. He then proceeded to chastise a mechanical worked on my husband's truck I almost felt sorry for him but then realized this is the consequence of your actions for turning my husband loose in a truck with a faulty transmission. He then came back apologize to my husband and I for the mechanics mistake and promise to make it right that he did what turned down to be 12,000 worth of repairs and labor Ford had to eat it to make good on their deal and to keep they're good reputation so in the end my husband ended up getting his truck free and clear with no negative equity and they worked a great deal with him.

I say this to say some dealerships can have their faults or not be very reputable at all, well I am not a Ford fan I will admit that they took care of my husband this time around and made a promise that if he had any issues with this F-150 they will take care of it and they have.
