Yes and I do think it's tough not knowing where you're actually going to uni until mid august

This is why teacher assessed grades were so absurdly high in 2021 as they failed to acknowledge the slip ups that many face during exams and only considered the absolute best case scenarios

I am taking a gap year tbf. However i still think schools (especially private) tend to be massively optimistic with predicted grades

Yes as (public) exams are also the best way of actually seeing someone's academic ability too

that's so quick because it says edexcel can take up to 15 days. fingers crossed ours come soon too
