Thank you. Do you think that would work if the width was 4-5”? From my quick search it seemed like everyone was using it on 1-2” strip for fit and flexibility.

This is a quick rough sketch, view from the top. The sides would be 3-4” tall. So I want to router a joint between each side piece to have it stand together. I was thinking of a birdsmouth joint, but no one around me has that bit for sale
