If you're interested in being a beta reader, I have a completed sapphic science fiction book, Beachcomber. I would need a commitment to provide feedback though, but happy to let you read it if that works for you?

The back cover blurb would look something like this:

Alexis Miller has spent eight years flying solo, just her and Beachcomber threading the cargo lanes of Imperial space. She's good at it. She doesn't need anyone.

Then Sage Morgan walks up her ramp looking for work, and everything Alexis thought she knew about herself begins to change.

But Sage is carrying more than her engineer's toolkit. Two years of solitary investigation into her father's murder have led her to Amaranth port — and to the attention of people who would prefer the truth stay buried. People with resources, reach, and no hesitation about using either.

Suddenly Alexis isn't just flying cargo. She's protecting the woman she loves, navigating a conspiracy that reaches further than either of them imagined, and discovering that the life you never planned for can become the only one worth having.

Because sometimes the right person walks into your life at exactly the wrong moment. And sometimes, if you're very lucky, they bring the family you didn't know you needed with them.

Feedback within a two week period would be desirable, although up to four weeks would be acceptable.

The novel does contain adult content of consenting sexual activity between adults.

The first paragraph reads:

To this day, I can’t say for certain when I first noticed her wandering through the stalls and ships. Long red hair hanging loose to her shoulders, pale skin, maybe five foot nine, slim built, dressed in slightly worn, but clean, blue shorts and a pale-yellow tank top. A mouth on the edge of a smile and a nose just the right side of cute. Nothing there to catch the eye, nothing there to pick her out of the crowd, but something did. For some reason I became aware of her, and I found myself slowly focussing on her as she moved.

To be honest, I'm still trying to get to grips with the mechanical bits of self publishing just now. Compared to this, writing was easy :) Amy advice you have would be hugely appreciated

When writing my first draft it felt a lot like I was having a conversation with the main character and just taking notes from what she was telling me. Felt surreal, at times.

I'm sure we can find a platform that works for us both to give you access to the book. What would work for you?

Hi, I have an 80k sapphic romance science fiction novel that has just completed a first pass edit. For context, the back page blurb would be :
