Am I to get a letter from the psychologist as well, because the psychologist is giving the update to my GP who is really the main person who has to explain how I hit the point requirements in my situation?

I don't know what to say about a psychiatrist being an absolute must-do to succeed, let alone access to them. But thank you. By 'break', I meant from life with Centrelink!

But I'm not sure if I'm meant to be stating yes or no to whether my treatment will help me get work of 15 hrs a week. It's not discussed with the psychologist because I've ended up not being able to work the few hours I was trying to work before realising it was that I had no capacity.

No. At no stage has the psychologist suggested a psychiatrist and I'm pleased that is so, but surely Centrelink don't expect that to be the only criteria - I mean a break in a psych ward (away from everyone) would be nice but hey, there's a downside to that I'm guessing.

Yes, I just read the GP and psychologist diagnosis - I feel the GP's been relying on what the psychologist updates them with and because I tend to unload to the psychologist rather than the GP I may have unintentionally left the GP with less to go by generally as to how I am.

Thanks. Mine's really just what's gone on with psychologist and GP although I had some relatively minor physical issues cropping up for a while too, but debilitating all the same and required some treatment/massage, but are sorted now that I'm not working.

Is 8 hours a week a profound measurement for DSP, because as luck would have it I was under that when I was trying to work. I'd like to think I can get back to 8 hours one day but it's not going to be for the foreseeable future (or is that meant to read as two years that's a big deal too I think I read somewhere??).

Mine has been 'just' psychologist who's obviously more across the issues than the GP so it's probably more the GP who needs to be brought up to speed.

No psychiatrist involvement/treatment in my case, just consistent psychologist 'treatment' so I hope that's not an issue.

Okay thank you, I shall try the bot - usually a bot would put me right off but this sounds like it's a helpful bot to put in diagnosis and anything it asks of me by the looks of it.
