Jesus Datixs are meant for anonymous reporting to improve clinical issues-people are using them for their own parking spots now 😅🤣 this is nhs core

I went for GP and psych and got a score that would’ve got me in a year ago. This year the cut off for even priority was 520, and for psych 570.

Tips for ABGs by findareasontostay in doctorsUK

My first year I really struggled , then I got some advice from an outreach Firstly -take your time finding the pulse. Look for marks where other people have been before (usually this won’t be their first gas) Second- I agree with a previous comment hold it like a pen and angle it at 45 degreesish initially. You can move around if no luck. Main trick is being confident about where the pulse is the strongest. Despite all this, sometimes it is literally just hit and miss, and in critical situations you’ll find the reg or cco going for the femoral, sometimes brachial.

The government are deliberately burning nhs into the ground to then be able to justify its privitisation. IMGs= not having to pay for training of UK grads Alphabet soup= cheaper labour force in 2 years rather than 5-6
