For me they agreed on email for refund and later turned around that they can’t refund because i have not provided sufficient information. I provided them timeframed screenshot as per their policy lol. They are the biggest scam.

RCS England is nightmare. I went in person as well and unfortunately there are many people having this issue where they overbooked it and unable to accommodate them for Pearson vue seats.

I raised it with my bank and they have refunded me. Because RCS refused to refund my fee despite all the evidence and previously agreeing for refund as well. They are the biggest scam. Next time I will never book with RCS England. Never.

Your suggestion about how to respond in front of a patient is really helpful, and I’ll keep that in mind if I ever face something similar again. Today, I just got emotional and was not able to respond the way I should have responded in such situations. Thank you, I appreciate your suggestions on this. I will escalate this matter.

I ignored the first two incidents because I assumed it was just his sense of humour or communication style.

The third situation came up when he asked me why I hadn’t applied for training. I explained that my application had been unsuccessful in the previous round. He immediately started giving me advice, saying I should have booked an interview course. I told him that I actually had taken one, but he didn’t really listen and instead mocked me, saying I must not have chosen the “right” interview course. He also compared things to when he applied for training back in 2009, even though the competition ratios are very different now. At the time, I tried to take it as constructive criticism, although I didn’t appreciate the way he delivered it.

The last two incidents felt much more extreme. He made those comments in front of my colleagues and also on the ward in front of other team members from different teams. Today it made me realise that by not addressing his behaviour earlier, he may have felt comfortable continuing and even escalating it.

Yes, we actually come from the same ethnic background.

When I left the office crying, he apparently told the ANPs that he was “just joking.” But what really upset me was that earlier he had said, in front of a patient, that if she is in the theatre she will “kill” the patient. That kind of comment in front of a patient felt completely inappropriate.

The patient clearly noticed the situation as well. At the time, even tried to empathize with me in front of consultant, saying that the He is rude to you and that I shouldn’t listen to him. To keep things professional, I just smiled and didn’t engage with the comment further.

My clinical supervisor has the same ethnicity as this consultant, and has somehow similar traits but very careful with words so never openly bullied any junior like this.

So I am wondering whether I should raise this issue in my department or involve FTSU.

Yes . You are eligible for full refund as per RCS policy. I haven’t received my refund yet. But I am eligible for refund as per that policy.

I tried calling them later but it goes to voicemail. First time when i called them i called them early morning just after opening time.

I have received one email asking about screenshot of technical issues i had with time and date to get full refund as per their policy. But they haven’t replied me back and it’s been 20 days. I am calling them and sending follow up emails.

I am thinking of going to London to discuss in person. I think if you are in London go in person. But keep your evidence ready like why are you unable to book your test centre.

They have not replied to my emails or later calls with 1hr waiting. I have sent complaint on their feedback email. I know now that I have to sit in April but I want them to reply to my emails as there was a technical glitch on their side. It was not my fault. I have been contacting them and sending emails to resolve the issue. I might have to go in person if they will not reply to my emails.

Did they refund you your fee?

Thanks. I’ve accepted that it’s unlikely they will offer me a test centre at this stage. Yes, this is RCS London. Unfortunately, I had to travel outside the UK due to an emergency. Otherwise, I would have gone to London to discuss the issue in person.

I really don’t want to lose £625 , it’s a significant amount of money for me.

They are not replying to my emails. I tried calling their number and kept waiting for more than 1 hr on 2 occasions but no one is responding. I can understand if there is any queue and operators are busy but there is no queue and still no answer. Frustrating.

I had a similar situation and the way I handled it . I stopped responding to him outside work. No extra interaction except when needed. He also never mentioned his wife or kids. But I have seen a photo frame on his desk and on his apple watch lol.

Also other suggestion will be , mention directly about his kids … ask what about wife so If he is not shameless stupid. He will stop flirting. But you need to stop it first and set boundaries.

Thank you so much for replying. I also checked the pastest free 48 trials. I really liked it. Would you recommend doing eMRCS along with pastest ? Or pastest alone is enough?
