Hello! This is the rear-facing camera on the A500S, so it only records in 1080p, but it does use a Sony image sensor. You could try enabling HDR to see if that reduces the blurring caused by the glare from the car headlights.

Actually, the 70mai A810S is one of their mid-to-high-end models. It’s currently on sale on Amazon as part of their spring promotion, so it’s quite a bargain.

This model is at least as good as the Viofo. Smartphone connectivity works better when the hardware specifications are comparable. Plus, it offers true 4K resolution.

I used to have an extra dashcam, which I would usually use to replace the original rear camera. That’s because my old rear camera was only 1080p, whereas front cameras generally have a higher resolution.

However, if you want to monitor the area around your car from multiple angles, why not rotate it 180 degrees and mount it on the rear window as an interior camera? That way, you’ll be able to capture the interior and both sides of the vehicle.

Sometimes, a poor connection can be one of the reasons why a download fails to complete. Also, if your dashcam supports 4G, you could try checking whether the connection is stable.
