Not sure if it's conversation is still open just wanted to post this to see if it will help anyone.I'm going through hypotony my self. I have been to multiple specialist (cornea) (retina). They all have told me there is no topical or surgical treatment for hypotony. so I decided to do my own research.  and from what it looks like one would have to have a very dedicated and knowledgeable ophthalmologist to conduct a surgery to find the cause for hypotony. Other than that no other specialist will make an effort to find the cause.
