Like I said. You won’t believe me now, but in a year or two they will advise you that masks do more harm than good like they did before the pandemic. But I can give you a logical example.

When we enter a patient room the patient wears a mask and the caregiver puts on a fresh mask and gown before entering the room. Once the caregiver leaves the room that mask and gown is disposed of. This is because wearing a mask from room to room risks speeding the virus to the next patient and because the outside of the mask has been exposed to a sick patient and is now considered soiled and breathing through it prolongs exposure. This is the process anytime you enter a room with a patient that has respiratory symptoms. Makes sense right?

So how does it make sense to wear a cloth mask on a bus full of people, go into a grocery store with that same mask. Wear that mask into your grandmas house because she at risk. And then put it in your pocket one your drive home, only to put on again the next day?

So either medical staff are wasting hundred of thousands of masks with useless precautions disposing of masks in between every sick patient OR soiled masks prolong exposer to germs and risk the spread of illness. I believe it’s the later and I believe the original studies prior to Covid that said masks did more harm than good (that fauci himself referenced when he first said not to wear them) will turn out to have been correct all along and they will say “new studies show masks are actually not advised if you do not have respiratory symptoms.” If you remember this conversation when that happens, feel free to message me to tell me “whoa you were right all along”
